Iβve been coming to UT HEALTH for about 3 months now and I love my entire care team. Dr. Rippentrop is my main provider along with Dr. Yauger and Dr, Mak and she has explained everything down to the very basics for my understanding. I feel heard and my treatment was tailored to me rather than just a generic protocol. I was given data and made aware of all the options available to me. It made this journey less stressful and with having the facts it made the decisions easier for me to make. This was an amazing care team. Thank you all for what you do!

I am actually really shocked by the reviews that I see. I personally have never felt more seen as an infertility patient than I did when I was going through UT HEALTH. The providers and their staff were great to me during my time as a patient. My concerns were listened to, and especially being the type of office that it was I felt so supported. My nurses were literally cheering with me the first time that I tested positive for ovulation and congratulated me when I was finally able to get pregnant. The only reason I actually saw all of these reviews and wanted to make a comment was because Iβm actually trying to go back for my second baby and I think of their team so highly.

I am extremely frustrated with my experience at UT Health Fertility Clinic. We were supposed to start our cycle last month, but were informed that our doctor would be unavailable, resulting in a month-long delay. Now, weβre being told we have to wait yet another month to get started. At this point, we have no estimated timeline for when we can begin treatment. When we inquired about the possibility of proceeding with a different provider to avoid further delays, our requests were ignored. I wish there was better communication from the clinic; itβs disheartening to find out about delays on our own without any proactive updates. Additionally, the communication here has been quite poor. We often have to reach out multiple times just to get an update on our situation. There has also been a lack of transparency regarding costs, and we still donβt have a clear understanding of what everything will entail. To top it off, they were reluctant to send a pre-authorization for my medications, suggesting it would be easier for them if I used their preferred pharmacy vendor and paid cash instead. Overall, I feel heartbroken and discouraged by this experience. ***Update: We ultimately decided to use a different provider who was able to assist us in getting started right away and was transparent about every step, including costs. Iβm happy to share that we are now 7 and a half months pregnant! Unfortunately, our experience with UT Health Fertility Clinic was challenging, particularly when it came to obtaining our medical records. It felt as though they were holding our records hostage simply because we wanted to leave.

Seems to lack empathy and all have either flat affects or attitudes. This is about trying to start a family and the staff checking you in or doing your vitals have severe attitudes. Not a way to treat clients going through enough stress. Need to learn better customer service skills or hire better employees. They also do no work around people's schedules. Its their way or no way. You would think for something like this that they could help work with working people's schedules.

Waited for an hour and a half for blood work... and they called someone before me when I was the first one there and they still didnt call me. Like we don't have jobs or places we have to be. if it wasn't for my insurance only being excepted at places like this I wouldn't even go there.. So if your paying out of pocket save your money and go somewhere better!
