Best IVF Clinics by City (2026)
Looking for the best IVF clinic near you? We’ve ranked fertility clinics in 22 major US cities using official, like-for-like data: the IVF success rates every US clinic must report to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Each city guide ranks local clinics by the percentage of intended egg retrievals that led to a live birth, adjusted for patient age, and shows results for every age group, the number of IVF cycles each clinic performs, the services it offers and what insurance covers in that state. The data comes from the CDC’s latest clinic-level release (2022 cycles, published December 2024).

How we rank IVF clinics
We use the CDC’s main measure of IVF success: the percentage of intended egg retrievals that result in a live birth, counting every embryo transfer from that retrieval. Because success rates fall sharply with age, we combine each clinic’s results for under 35, 35–37, 38–40 and over 40 into a single age-adjusted score, weighted by how many patients in each age group are treated nationally. On this measure, the US average is 32.3%.
To keep rankings fair, a clinic is only ranked if it reported at least 20 egg retrievals in every age group. Rankings are based only on CDC data – no clinic can pay to appear higher.

|---|---|
| Under 35 | 49.7% |
| 35–37 | 36.3% |
| 38–40 | 23.1% |
| Over 40 | 7.7% |

Before you choose a clinic
Success rates are a useful starting point, but they depend on each clinic’s patients and diagnoses. Ask clinics for their latest results for patients like you, the full cost of a cycle (including medication and embryo freezing), and what your insurance covers.
