Dr. de Pinho has been dishonest in every interaction, altering the terms at his discretion, and has consistently demonstrated a lack of integrity. The invoices have been inflated significantly beyond the initially quoted prices. The overall process is remarkably slow. If you are still planning to visit, I recommend recording the meetings, as this is entirely legal and will provide evidence should Dr. de Pinho alter his account of events.

As a surrogate, I would not recommend this clinic. The wait time for a record review can take over four weeks, and the communication throughout the process is not the best. Additionally, Dr. DePinho did not come across as compassionate, which was disappointing. I did not move past the records review stage. As an intended parent, if you are okay with long waits and less-than-ideal communication, this clinic might still be acceptable for you. I
