FCNE is amazing. They walk you thru every step of the way. Dr. Huang is great! We went thru 2 rounds, and I cannot express how appreciative I am. Everyone took the time to ensure I was on the right track and even though the first failed, they were there every step of the way and I tried a second time which was successful. I am currently holding my 3 week old boy. I could not have done it with out FCNE.

This review is way overdue, as I'm sitting here staring at my perfect 2 month old baby boy. As a fellow physician, I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Huang. She is smart, efficient, responsive, thoughtful, kind, compassionate and truly cares about your journey. There were many ups and down on my way to success and she was with me every step of the way. In the Providence office, Julie could not be more helpful or supportive. I started my treatment at another local facility and it could not have been more disappointing or frustrating. If you are pursuing treatment in Providence, there is no other option - call fertility solutions and see Dr. Huang.

This LONG and honest review about my experience . On this day 1 year ago I found out I was pregnant and now I am holding my perfect healthy 3,5 months old baby girl! Thank you Fertility solutions! I was a patient at the different place before coming here and i can't be happier i switched to this place.  Appointments were easy to make and I didn't have to wait months! I mostly went to Providence location and nurse (Julie) is the best person ever (I am not sure if she still works there as it is been a year): compationate, kind, professional. She always made me feel good and confident. My doctor was Dr. Kowalik and I never actually saw her in person, we had 2 on line video consultations. You have to prepare questions to ask, otherwise not much information given. All my questions were answered, but (!) her approach "one step at a time" is just not for me. I prefer to know all my options, what is going to happen at every step of fertility treatment, and what to expect next otherwise my anxiety kills me. In short: lack of detail resulted in me googling way more then I should have. I just felt like I wasn't receiving enough information. Dr. Huang- had pleasure to meet her. She was kind, caring and very patient  with me even though i was not her direct patient she answered all my questions. She did few ultrasounds for me as well, very reassuring and professional, I really liked when my US aligned with her shifts:) Overall- EVERYONE was nothing but nice throughout this hard and emotional journey. (Except 1 front desk person in MA location, but it was rather exception and maybe that was a bad day for her. Happens). 2 things that made me rate 4 stars and not 5 are: 1). This place not open on Sunday (even thou I was assured they are). Which I think a little strange. So if your perfect fertility window falls on Sunday, well, you gonna wait till Monday and hope for the best. 2). Mixed up with prescription. I don't think it was 100% fault of Fertility solutions but lack of communication on their side really took its toll here. In short: cvs specialty didn't send 1 medication (because it had to be regular cvs not specialty), i found out late and appeared those pills were not available, had to call 5 -6 pharmacies untill I was told by pharmacist that that medication has different name because it was rebranded. (How would i know, right?) And I had to wait 24 h for new prescription according to insurance rule- so silly (I might be off in some details, it was a while ago, but it was so stressful as I had to take 1st pill on Saturday and was able to get prescription only on Friday, night before). It still worries me that if I wasn't on top of this situation, I wouldn't have my baby now.

Had the most horrendous experience here from start to finish (now FCNE). We selected this place given the good reviews compared to neighboring clinics. Everyone was so rude from start to finish. It was extremely hard to get in touch with the new patient coordinator to get an appointment. Met with dr Huang who, on our first meeting stated “you should consider egg donation as having a child may not be in the works for you”- (I’m 33, healthy, unknown cause infertility) given the time sensitive process of IVF, we proceeded w this clinic. Shannon the nurse sent incorrect preauth form to insurance, pharmacy had a hard time getting in contact with the nursing team which caused almost a 2 wks delay to obtain meds. We were not able to speak with dr Huang the entire journey, nurses were rude and also hard to get a hold of. When I came in for my saline sonogram, dr Huang was the performing provider and was so cold, she didn’t say a word to me tho we only had our appointment a couple weeks prior. At the end of our journey, results were not what we had hoped for and at my follow up appointment, dr. Huang proceeded to speak about another patient, why she was upset with her care and projected her situation onto me and continued to recommend egg donation. She also suggested I go to other clinics such as Brigham and can bring back their recommendations to her and we can proceed with their plans which really took me by surprise given her years of experience. At the very end when I requested my medical records, it took OVER a month to get a copy of my records from Alicia who had such a nasty attitude and kept saying her workload was too big which is a crazy excuse. It took my husband to get involved for her to actually remain my medical records. Swapped over to another clinic and now having the opposite experience.

Everyone was understand and the doctors were terrific. It took 3 rounds of ivf. When it felt like there was no hope. Just breath and trust the process. My daughter is going to be 1 yrs old next month. While all the doctors played a part in a successful pregnancy Dr. Kowalik was especially patient and understanding throughout the entire process. We can't thank you enough.
