Communication was -1/5. Call center and in-person clinic saying different things. Long-term storage phone call appointment cancelled multiple times. I got double billed, fixed but it was a headache. (Lol almost triple billed too) Explanation: When calling the Andrology Lab, it will redirect to an internal call center that handles scheduling appointments. The problem is that there is a large disconnect between what the call center understands/says VS what the in-person clinic says or what my doctor said of the process. Advice: Ask lots of clarifying questions. Clarify the difference between fertility analysis and cryopreservation. Clarify what the timeline looks like for them to give you a phone call versus the timeline for making a deposit.

Good luck tryin got cancel your storage! I've been tryin for a year and they are still billing me!! Unbelieve for an organization as big as the U of U. Never again would I ever use these folks.

The first lady that answered was nice, I had to call back to collect info from my husband so i could set up an appointment. Second lady that answered the phone , angie or, i cant remember, made me mad. I had the info that i knew. She was nice at the first but then she asked if my husband had been to that clinic before, being only married to him for 10 months, she asked me his background, had he been seen by them before? I said no but im not sure but answer was probably no. She again asked me. HAS he checked into ANY medical facilities like E.R.? (Her tone was changing like she was irratated. I told her, (me being new this area) i said hes been to intermountain E.R, thats the only one I knew. She sounded mad this time "YOU ARE CALLING UNiversity state of utah." Woow i didnt know 🤦🏼‍♀️Lol im trying to set up an appointment. I think i know whom im calling. Aww man i felt I should offer her a cookie or something. Holy cow. Anyway I barked back. " i dont know if hes been seen by you before. Well she kinda calmed down when I gave her attitude right back. But, so she tells me she doesnt want to make duplicate profiles. So i asked her, you cant type his name in? She said no because she doesnt know if shes misspelling his name 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ Okay.......i now knew she was useless and she obviously needed more training. Not how you talk to a patient. Just not. I dont care how dumb they are. You have to keep yourself in check. get off your lazy a hole and check. lol So she tells me after i told her that im making the appointment because your not open when hes home. She tells me you have plenty of time to make an appointment,🤦🏼‍♀️ just call back (the day before we want to schedule and after 3:00pm) ive never heard of making an appointment the day before i want to come in. I dont know. Anyway cant do that. Sometimes he works and he cant just take tomorrow off without notice, nor can i. Hence, thats why im making an appointment. She was just dang right mean and rude when i wasnt. An hour later my husband, thankfully, was abled to get off work early before they closed. I told him he had to call. I was sure he'd get the same girl but it was a different girl, Olivia whom was by far more polite. He told her he didn't known if he's ever been to their clinic. All she did was ask for his name and SS. And bam that was all she needed. (Something the other lady could do) He has an appointment now. i was so upset because I wasn't doing anything wrong. Just making a little appointment. I wasnt going to wait the day before because she couldn't spell. 🤦🏼‍♀️She was just being lazy and didnt want to help me after SHE snapped. But the other lady could help my husband with the same information that i had.

Somehow we received false information on a sperm sample that made us believe incorrectly that fertility treatments were not needed. They didn't tell us for 5 months. We wasted 5 months because they gave us wrong information.
