We had a great experience with NYU and especially Dr. Brooke Hodes Wertz. Everyone we’ve dealt with has been attentive, eloquent and kind, and has really cared about our journey. The call system is a bit frustrating to deal with- you usually have to call the nurse hotline and then wait for a call back but once you’re in touch with the doctor or any of the nurses it’s a very pleasant experience.

I had a great experience at NYU Langone Fertility Center for egg freezing. It’s definitely not the cheapest option, and I hesitated at first about having to wait six months for the consultation appointment, but I’m really glad I did. From start to finish, I felt like I was in good hands. The clinic is super clean and modern, and everyone I interacted with was kind, professional, and supportive. Dr. Blakemore is amazing - she explained everything clearly and had a calm, reassuring bedside manner that helped ease a lot of my nerves. The egg freezing process can feel overwhelming, but NYU made it as smooth and manageable as it could be. I’d absolutely recommend them and would go back again without hesitation.

Avoid this location at all costs! The doctor was excellent, but one of the female nurses here was shockingly unprofessional. She mocked my English because I didn’t understand a word, then went on to laugh about it with her coworkers while my husband and I were still in the next room—we could clearly overhear their conversation. During the blood draw, she struggled multiple times and eventually inserted the needle too deeply, causing me severe pain. Immediately afterward, I couldn’t move my arm. It developed a large bruise and remained painful for several days, with numbness running from my elbow down to my hand. I continued my egg-freezing procedure at NYU but made sure to avoid this location, going only to the 53rd Street office. There, I never had the same painful or unprofessional experience with blood draws or the nursing staff

The staff is incredibly rude and snappy. I understand there's repetitive on your end. But as a patient, this is all new. Do your job and have human courtesy to all these ladies who's experiencing infertility and already on edge. The doctors are incredible but the staff and technicians who draws blood are the worst people i have ever experienced. Do a favor. Go somewhere else. Why get treated by trash people?

Dr. Blakemore is one of the best fertility doctors in the world. Highly recommend - great communication, quality care and incredible nursing staff. Nomad office is more cozy and feels like a regular doctor office where 53rd feels more like a hospital.
