It’s hard to put into words what RMA of New York: Eastside means to our family. After years on our fertility journey, they made it possible for us to welcome our beautiful son, Leo, into the world. We will forever be grateful for the compassion, expertise, and unwavering support we received every step of the way. Dr. Brauer is truly exceptional. She goes above and beyond for her patients—taking the time to explain every option, every decision, and every part of the process with clarity and kindness. She guided us through each stage of our journey, including our transfer, with such genuine care. What meant even more is that she stayed in contact after Leo was born, celebrating alongside us. None of this would have been possible without her steady presence and dedication. We also want to recognize Melissa Goldner, Brianna Katz, and the entire RMA of NY Third Party team. Their professionalism and warmth carried us through the harder moments, and their belief in our dream of becoming parents never wavered. Even when the process took years, the whole team held onto the vision with us—and helped us hold onto it too. We owe them so much more than a five-star review. We owe them our son, our joy, and the life we have now. If you shed a tear reading this, know that they helped create countless stories like ours—and we hope yours is next.

I had a great experience with Dr. Buyuk, Allie and Team who oversaw my care from my initial consult through to my IVF pregnancy. Yes, monitoring hours can be long, but I was always out before work, and overall I had a really positive experience here and wanted to share! Dr. Buyuk is very steady, data-driven and rational, which I found really supportive while I was navigating the highs and lows of trying to get pregnant. I think of it like having a steady boat captain when the waves are really choppy. Both he and Allie on the nursing team were always responsive, and I felt like I was monitored closely and my protocols adjusted accordingly throughout treatment. Most importantly, they helped me get pregnant I couldn’t be more grateful for the support and care I received.

Infertility is such a hard, personal process and large impersonal shops like RMA only added to my trauma. After miscarrying a euploid embryo, I was told it was only bad luck and just try again. I had significant concerns since I only had three embryos and a history of endometriosis and a family history of auto immune disease. They were very flippant about my concerns confidently saying it was a bad embryo and we just had to try the same thing again. Well same result. A miscarriage at 9w that broke me and left me with only one poor quality embryo left to try. Their solution we’ll just do more retrievals as if that’s cheap and easy and also ignoring the emotional toll of multiple miscarriages. They refused to investigate my questions about endometriosis or auto immune issues further. I changed clinics to someone who provides customized protocols and thoroughly investigates all potential causes of infertility. They supported my decision to have my endometriosis surgery which cured my 20 year struggle with low back pain that I had no idea was because of the endo. I was put on a tailored immune protocol and my first beta was so high we thought the embryo had split but no that one super healthy pregnancy resulting in me holding my six month old while she naps. My experience at RMA was awful and it triggers me to see their doctors on 60 Minutes and other media when they are just a cookie cutter factory with a lack of curiosity and empathy for the pain of their patients. Also billing is a NIGHTMARE. Every six months they send me a bill for storage that is actually fully covered by my insurance and I have to struggle for months to get them to bill them instead of me. All around just terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend to anyone. They really need to listen to their patients and get rid of their policies that encourage a one size fits all approach such as not allowing certain testing or protocols.

I've been a customer since 2017 and have ongoing billing as part of treatment. It was seven full years before I received a bill on time. Regardless of whether I gave email, correct address for mailing, called directly, the ability of RMA to set up consistent billing has shown me time and again that this business is one I would never trust with my treatment today. The frequency with which I have to reach out to them to ask questions is staggering considering I have not visited their offices in over 8 years. Every time I connect with them I receive a reply that shows nobody has actually read my inquiry. They have four different billing portals. Ask them which portal you need to use your bill and they send you a link to all 4 of the different portals without providing explanation. If I were starting treatment over today, I would under no circumstance consider this business. They engaged in multiple shady practices related to my initial treatment in 2017 and used this to have me pay thousands extra upfront. In the eight ensuing years they have been nothing but a headache to deal with. Communication is poor. The billing department is the most frustrating I've ever dealt with. I do not recommend this business.

I visited Dr. Alan Copperman for an initial fertility consultation after only three months of trying to conceive, hoping for professional guidance and reassurance. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. Beyond the content of the consultation, his attitude and body language felt arrogant and unprofessional. The way he was sitting, almost reclining casually as if on a couch, created a disrespectful atmosphere, which was quite unsettling in such a sensitive medical context. Instead of offering balanced and personalized advice, the discussion felt overly pessimistic and rushed toward advanced interventions. Based on my experience, I would not recommend him to patients seeking a compassionate and patient-centered approach.
