I really liked Dr. Brody and Pat’s personalized service until Dr. Brody kind of was insistent I needed a pelvic exam one visit. It was in a way that gave me the creeps, even after I explained I had-had a recent gyn exam. I never went back to him after this. I was disappointed, I realized his behavior felt inappropriate. It’s a shame, he’s brilliant, spends lots of of time with you and it seemed like he cared. I didn’t end up consenting to the exam and the conversation was deflected. But I saw him in a different light. Don’t ever go to doctor’s that insist on exam’s w/no good reason.

This was truly a terrible experience. I had found Dr. Brody through Zocdoc who had a 4.5 rating with 500+ reviews, so it felt like a safe bet. I had recently taken a pregnancy test that came back positive, so my goal for this appointment was specifically to receive a blood test to ensure my pregnancy test was accurate. My husband and I arrived 10 minutes early and when we checked in, we confirmed with the front desk clerk that we were there for a blood test - she acknowledged and has me fill out paperwork. We waited 50 minutes for me to be called to take a urine sample, then another 45 minutes to be called into a room. It was there that the front desk clerk, now seemingly a nurse, took all of the information I had just filled out by hand, and transcribed it question by question to another piece of paper, reciting everything back to me. It felt archaic how manual and slow everything was moving. Once she finished, we were ushered into another room where we continued to wait for Dr. Brody. When we finally saw him it had been a little over 2 hours. He was pleasant and sweet, cracked a few jokes and confirmed that my urinalysis came back positive for pregnancy. I asked him when I'd be taking the blood test to further confirm, and he said "oh we don't do that here, you'll have to go to a lab to get that done" and handed me a sheet with several locations (not onsite) we could visit. He also proceeded to tell me (by using a paper wheel to calculate the date) that I was 6 weeks, 5 days pregnant, when in fact it was later confirmed that at that time I was only 4 weeks and 5 days pregnant. Then as we are about to leave, Dr. Brody says he needs another data point from my urinalysis and asks the nurse/front desk clerk if she still had my sample - she had thrown it away (of course) so I had to wait another 20 minutes to drink some water and pee into a cup again. After all this, I received a bill a few months later for the full price of the appointment, saying my insurance denied it. It was because the insurance info had been written down incorrectly, which I imagined happened when it was being transcribed by hand. I called to correct it, but am still getting the same bill in the mail. I just now got off the phone with the office and they're saying the correction was never made. Long story long - it was a waste of time and is an incredibly outdated facility and practice. I highly DO NOT recommend making an appointment here.

Dr Brody is kind but everything in his office is outdated. He takes 3 hrs to see you, and is always late which isn’t only unprofessional but rude. I wouldn’t recommend seeing him.

Dr. Brody is an exceptionally intelligent and brilliant Endocrinologist whose profound expertise ensures he provides the precise, optimal treatment with the lowest possible side effects. He’s been my doctor for over five years and while his appointments might take few hours of your day, his dedication to work with his patients to make sure they receive the treatment they need make the long visit totally worth it for the high quality of care.

If I could give them 0 stars, I would! I really regret going to this clinic; they took 4 months of my life, made me wait hours; did not care at all; did not go over the result of either tests with me. First, they made me wait there about 2 hours in the clinic to get a procedure done that I had waited 2 months to schedule. They ended up not doing it because they looked at me and said I look sick ( I was a little tired and my face looked red after the long drive! ) and made me wear a mask and got my temperature and said it's border line and turned me away without doing the procedure! He completely ignored me and carried on with the next patient!!!!!! The next day I was about to leave them a review and decided to let them know out of courtesy and also ask them to go over a very expensive and unnecessary blood work Brody had ordered me before and never went over it with me. They said they are sorry and they are gonna make it up to me by giving me another appointment in the middle of the day so Brody could spend enough time and he will do the procedure for free! I decided to trust them and did not leave them a review at that time. When it was time to schedule the procedure of course they didn't have any availability midday! I thought never mind at least they are gonna do it for me at no cost (as promised )! but when I got there another 2 hour wait; Of course they don't remember anything regarding that phone call; they made me sit there until 7 pm to get that procedure done; Brody left immediately after without going over it with me saying he has a meeting at the hospital! Imagine I was there for 2 hours waiting for all the others get their long consultations with him!!!! I asked Pat if they could call me the next day to go over it and she said of course! Of course they never called me back and guess what: I just got a big bill from them and that They DID BILL the insurance after all !!!! Overall' I wasted 4 months of my life waiting to schedule that test; paid 850 for some unnecessary blood work that my new clinic didn't need and a surprise bill tonight after all that frustration! If I knew them 4 months ago I would value my time and mental health and would pick another clinic. This doctor DOES NOT KEEP HIS WORD; DO NOT TRUST HIM!
