Our journey into egg donation and surrogacy began in 1990 with the first gestational surrogate baby born in San Diego—Darlene’s own child, Kaitlin. Kaitlin’s birth was amongst the first in the world through gestational surrogacy and helped set the legal precedent for parentage rights in all subsequent cases in the state. Since then, APM has been matching surrogates and egg donors with intended parents who can’t create their family without the help of a kind and generous egg donor or surrogate. The person who embraces becoming a gestational surrogate or an egg donor and helping a family in such a personal way is a selfless and unique woman who offers a gift that will truly make a difference in the lives of the intended parents she helps.

I wanted to be a surrogate after I had my son 10 years ago but couldn’t for various reasons. A few years ago I saw an ad on facebook asking I was interested and immediately was like oh, I forgot about that! I did a lot of research and talked to a lot of agencies and decided to move forward with A Perfect Match. I love them. They were so friendly and so helpful and everyone has been a surrogate so they had a lot of insight to offer and were able to answer any questions I had along the way. They are quick to respond and to fix any issues that may pop up. They offer support groups and will honestly just talk through anything. Everyone I talked to from signing up, to matching with my IP, to medicine, to labor and delivery, to postpartum was amazing. They checked up on me often and were very consistent and I really appreciated it. I feel so lucky that I found them and they’re the ones that helped me along this journey.

If you’re looking for a thoughtful, well organized, detail-oriented surrogacy agency A Perfect Match is the best way to go! They balance professionalism and thoughtfulness so perfectly within this industry. It has been such a joy to work with APM as a surrogate, and I will absolutely be doing it again with them! My surrogacy experience with A Perfect Match was everything I hoped it would be and more. Both ladies that helped me were amazing. Ruth matched me with the perfect family whom I have a very close relationship with now. Susan was so great to make sure everything was in order through the whole process. They both made me feel very comfortable and showed genuine care and concern for my well being. If you are considering surrogacy you will not find a better agency to help you in your journey!

We are very satisfied with the service we received from A Perfect Match. From the first contact to the congratulations on the birth of our miracle baby, everything was affectionate, familiar and yet professional. Of all the agencies we looked at, A Perfect Match suited us the most and we do not regret this decision at all.
