I began working with Dr. Hammond and her husband in January 2026. At the start of treatment, my spouse and I were told that our lab work looked “perfect” and there were no significant concerns moving forward with IVF. Unfortunately, after two IVF cycles that both failed to fertilize, I also ended up hospitalized with ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS) following the second egg retrieval. What was most disappointing during this experience was the lack of communication and support from the clinic. While I was hospitalized, I had to reach out myself to get information about the cycle results instead of the clinic contacting me directly. When I did speak with them, the conversation felt more focused on placing blame—suggesting my age might be the reason for the outcome. I had just turned 40, and age was never previously presented to us as a major concern before starting treatment. It was frustrating to hear it used as a possible explanation only after the clinic could not provide a clear answer as to what went wrong. As a healthcare provider myself, I understand that not every cycle results in success. However, compassion, transparency, and communication with patients during difficult moments are extremely important. Patients going through fertility treatment are already in a vulnerable position, and they deserve sensitivity and clear communication when outcomes are not what everyone hoped for.

If I could give negative stars I would. This place is absolutely disgusting and should be ashamed of themselves. They pick and choose who to help. They will not see you if you have a surrogate. PLEASE GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE IF YOU TRULY WANT HELP!! SHAME ON YOU!

They say it takes a village- and this stands so true for infertility journey, often painful and full of disappointments. For most clinics you’re just a number and sometimes it takes someone believing in you for this to happen. And that’s what you get at IFS - from front desk, your nurse, to amazing Drs they are your team. They know you by name, believe in all possibilities and instill hope while doing everything with care, professionalism and empathy. First time I got human touch from clinic on this journey and so far it got us further than we’ve ever been before. THANK YOU (Ela)

I can never thank Dr. Hammond and her staff enough for advocating for me through my tears & helping my husband & I be blessed with our sweet baby girl. She’s almost 10 months old now & I can never thank IFS enough for helping us get our miracle. Highly recommend.

Innovative was a fantastic experience. They were compassionate, understood our concerns and answered all of our questions. We found quick success with IFS vs other specialists we saw in our area. We commuted from Chattanooga hoping to find the right facility and team to help and we were convinced we were at the right place from the first consultation. We will certainly be back if we need any help with our second child.
